This week I wanted to create a simple, fun post sharing some of my favorite trends for the upcoming Spring and Summer months. These trends come straight from the runway so I hope you enjoy.
Spring 2019 will be the perfect time to bust out those beiges.
Across the fashion and home furnishings industries you will notice the shift from greys to beige as your go to neutral.
You can style this trend beige on beige with some white accents for a chic look like Burberry did on the left, or add in some soft spring colors with a beige pant like Acne Studios created on the right.
Birds of a Feather
This feathery trend will add the perfect amount of soft texture to your Spring wardrobe.
You can take a more subtle approach on the trend as Valentino did with the gorgeous blue top on the left, or you can be as extra as you want like with the look Oscar de la Renta created on the right.
Artisanal hand work with 70’s inspired patchwork crochet, fisherman weaves, and macrame applique will create a textured, craft themed spring wardrobe.
This trend will add a delicate and textured touch which I think is perfect for beachy days.
Floral prints have always been the go to for Spring and Summer. This year designers are throwing out everything you ever knew about carefully matching your prints. 2019 is the year to mix and match it up all you want.
Carolina Herrera created this beautiful mixed print patchwork dress on the left, while Louis Vuitton chose to keep the same print, but switch up the colors for something more unconventional.
Out of all of the runway trends for Spring/Summer 2019, these were the ones I liked the most. Were there some I didn’t discuss that caught your eye? Let me know below in the comments!
